About Coin Currents Daily
Coin Currents Daily covers crypto the way a market desk actually reads it — flows first, narrative second. We pair independent reporting with live data so you can check a claim against the tape in one click.
What we do
We report on markets, protocols, and policy; we publish plain-English explainers on the Learn desk; we rate crypto services against published criteria; and we surface live prices for thousands of assets. Everything is written by named people, checked against primary sources before it publishes, and dated on the page — and when we get something wrong, the correction is published with its own date.
Who publishes this
Coin Currents Daily is an independent publication, not a company. There is no registered business behind it, no investor, no parent group and no commercial backer — it is a small editorial desk that publishes at its own expense. We would rather state that plainly than dress a website up as a corporation, and it is the reason you will not find a company number or a registered office anywhere on this site.
What that costs us is the reassurance a masthead with a legal entity provides. What it buys you is simple: there is no revenue to protect, so there is nothing for our coverage to be careful about.
What we stand for
Five commitments decide what gets published here, and they are the ones to hold us to.
- Checkable beats impressive.Every factual claim in a review traces to the provider's own page, listed at the foot of the review with the date it was read. If we cannot source a number, we do not print it.
- A gap stays a gap. When a project does not publish its fees, its auditors or the entity behind it, we say so. Silence is a finding in itself, and filling it in with a plausible guess would be the easiest way to mislead you.
- The arithmetic is on the page. Every overall score is the plain average of the criteria printed beside it, so you can recalculate it yourself and tell us if it is wrong.
- Nothing here is for sale. No advertising, no sponsored posts, no paid reviews, no affiliate or referral links. Nobody can buy a score, a rank or a mention.
- We publish our corrections. Mistakes get fixed in the open with a dated note, not edited away quietly.
How we stay independent
We don't take payment to cover a project favorably — in fact we take no payment at all, from anyone (see how the site is funded). Price data comes from CoinGecko; our analysis is our own. Nothing on Coin Currents Daily is financial advice — do your own research before you invest.
Read the details in our Editorial Policy and Disclaimer.
A non-commercial project
Coin Currents Daily is not a business. The site is free to read, carries no paywall, and is not monetised in any way: no advertising, no sponsored posts, no paid reviews, and no affiliate or referral links anywhere on the site. When we link to an exchange or a wallet, it is a plain editorial link — we earn nothing whether or not you follow it.
That means there is no commercial interest for our coverage to serve. Nobody can buy a score, a rank, or a mention, because there is nothing to buy. Our rankings are worked out from published criteria and every overall score is the plain average of the per-criterion scores printed on the page, so you can check the arithmetic yourself — the full process is in our Ratings Methodology.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we fix it and note the change. Email [email protected] or use our contact form with the URL and the specific issue. The full process is in our corrections policy.
Who writes here
Every article carries a named author with a published biography and areas of coverage — browse the full list on our authors page. Articles are written and edited by people; software may assist with research or data, but a human author is responsible for every published word.
The desk
The desk is small and the beats are split so that whoever signs a piece is the person who covers that ground: markets and flows, the protocol layer, and the explainers that translate both. Each name below links to everything that author has published here, so you can read the body of work rather than take a biography's word for it.
