What this site collects, what it does not, how long anything is kept, and the rights you have over it. There is no account, no newsletter and no tracking before you agree to it.

Who is responsible
Coin Currents Daily is an independent publication run by a private individual. There is no registered company behind it and none is claimed — see who publishes this. For anything in this policy, including a request about your data, write to [email protected]. That is the only address the site uses.
What we collect when you read
Nothing you have to hand over. There is no account to create, no newsletter to join and no form that submits to us: the contact page opens your own email client. We ask for no name, no address and no payment details, because there is nothing here to buy.
Our web server keeps ordinary access logs: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the page you arrived from and your browser's user-agent string. They exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse. They rotate daily and are deleted after 14 days.
Analytics
There is no analytics on this site. No measurement script is configured, none is loaded, and no cookie is set for one. We cannot tell which pages you read; the server log described above is the whole of it.
If that changes it will be Google Analytics 4 behind a consent banner — nothing would load unless you accepted, IP addresses would be truncated before storage and the advertising features would stay off — and this page will say so on the day it happens rather than in advance.
Third parties
Prices and market data come from CoinGecko, but your browser never contacts them: our server fetches the data and serves it from this domain, so your IP address is not shared with CoinGecko. On individual coin pages an interactive chart is embedded from TradingView and loads when you scroll to it; at that point your browser does connect to TradingView, which may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Fonts and other assets are served from this domain.
Why we are allowed to do this
- Server logs — legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.
- Analytics — your consent, given through the banner and withdrawable at any time.
- Email you send us — legitimate interest in answering you. We keep correspondence only as long as it is useful to the exchange, and correction requests as part of the published correction record.
We do not sell data, do not share it with advertisers, and run no advertising, sponsorship or affiliate programme that could create a reason to.
Your rights
No company sits behind this site and no jurisdiction is claimed for it. Rather than pick the most convenient rulebook, we hold ourselves to the strictest one available — the standard set by the EU General Data Protection Regulation — for every reader, wherever they are. Nothing here reduces the rights you already have under the law where you live.
You can ask for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to or ask us to restrict its processing, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw consent to analytics at any time. Email [email protected] and we will answer within a month. You may also complain to your national data-protection authority.
In practice we hold almost nothing about an individual reader: logs that expire after 14 days, aggregate analytics that identify no one, and any email you chose to send.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
The date at the top is the date this text last changed. Material changes will be reflected there rather than made quietly.
