Overview

Bastion Node is a staking protocol whose entire design centres on downside protection. It supports Ethereum, Cosmos, and Polkadot, delegating stake to operators selected for reliability rather than the last basis point of yield, and backs positions with a slashing-protection reserve.

Fees & costs

Commission is 9% of rewards across supported chains. Part of that flows into a reserve that reimburses users for covered slashing events up to defined limits, so a slice of the fee effectively buys insurance against operator error rather than pure service cost.

Security

Core contracts are formally verified, and all upgrades pass through multi-signature governance with a timelock, reducing the chance of a rushed or malicious change. The non-custodial architecture keeps withdrawal control with users while the reserve absorbs qualifying penalties.
