BrightBit Wallet Review

Best for NFT collectors

8.4

of 10

BrightBit is the most enjoyable wallet we tested for viewing and managing an NFT collection, with a gallery that actually respects the art. Collectors who also want heavy DeFi tooling will need a second wallet, but for digital collectibles it stands out.

Overview

BrightBit is a wallet built around digital collectibles. Rather than treating NFTs as an afterthought, it renders images, video and audio natively in a gallery view, groups holdings by collection, and pulls in floor-price and rarity data for supported projects. Managing a large collection feels closer to a media app than a spreadsheet.

Fees & costs

BrightBit charges 0.4% on in-app token swaps and nothing to hold or transfer NFTs beyond network gas. Listing to marketplaces routes through third-party contracts whose fees are shown before signing. There is no subscription for the gallery features.

Security

Keys are stored on-device with biometric protection. BrightBit's notable safety feature for collectors is spam filtering: airdropped scam NFTs, often used to lure users to malicious sites, are quarantined rather than shown in the main gallery. Approval prompts warn before granting marketplace operators transfer rights.

Who it's for

BrightBit is aimed at active NFT collectors and creators who want their holdings to look and feel like a curated collection. Users focused on yield, staking or multi-chain DeFi will find the financial tooling thin, but for collectibles it is a pleasure to use.

Frequently asked questions

Does BrightBit protect against NFT scams?

It quarantines suspected spam and airdropped scam NFTs into a separate area and warns before you approve marketplace transfer permissions, but you should still verify links independently.

Can I list NFTs for sale from the wallet?

Yes. BrightBit connects to supported marketplaces so you can list directly, with all fees and approvals shown before you sign the transaction.
