SushiSwap Review
Widest chain deployment, thinnest current disclosure
of 10
SushiSwap publishes its v2 fee and its split — 0.3% per trade, 0.25% to liquidity providers and 0.05% to SUSHI holders — plus v3 tiers, and claims 38 supported chains. Its licence position and audit disclosure are both muddled.

Scores
Each criterion carries equal weight. The overall score is the average of these 5 scores — (9.0 + 6.0 + 4.0 + 9.0 + 3.0) ÷ 5 = 6.2.
Pros
- v2 fee published with its split: 0.25% to LPs, 0.05% to SUSHI holders
- v3 tiers of 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.3% and 1%
- 38 chains stated, the widest deployment in this comparison
Cons
- The v3-core licence file names Uniswap Labs as licensor and Uniswap V3 Core as the licensed work
- v2-core and the main monorepo have no LICENSE file on the branches checked
- No audit page or named auditing firm was found
- The chain list is self-dated July 2025, a year stale at the time of checking
The fee split is published, which is rare
SushiSwap states not just the 0.3% v2 trading fee but where it goes: 0.25% to liquidity providers and 0.05% to SUSHI token holders. Knowing the split matters, because a fee routed to token holders is a different proposition to one that compensates the people providing liquidity.
An inherited licence, and a lapsed one
The v3-core LICENSE file is a Business Source License 1.1 whose parameters name Uniswap Labs as licensor and Uniswap V3 Core as the licensed work — the fork carried the original file across. Its change date of 1 April 2023 has passed, which by the file's own terms converts it to GPL-2.0-or-later. Meanwhile v2-core and the main monorepo carry no LICENSE file at all.
Two gaps
No audit page or named firm could be found, and the supported-chain list carries its own July 2025 date stamp, making it a year old when we read it.
