Crypto.com Visa Card Review
Widest availability, at a staking cost
of 10
Crypto.com publishes its five card tiers with the CRO staking each requires and the monthly fee attached — from a free entry card to $500,000 staked for the top tier. The cashback range of 0% to 5% has to be read against that requirement.

Scores
Each criterion carries equal weight. The overall score is the average of these 5 scores — (9.0 + 3.0 + 3.0 + 8.0 + 5.0) ÷ 5 = 5.6.
Pros
- Staking requirement published for every tier
- Monthly fees stated for the lower tiers, with an annual alternative
- Available across the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Brazil
- Entry tier has no staking requirement and no monthly fee
Cons
- Top rewards require $500,000 of CRO staked for twelve months
- No FX or conversion fee is stated on the page
- Monthly fees for the two highest tiers are not published
- Assets are custodied by the provider
The rewards ladder, priced
Crypto.com sets out what each tier costs: nothing for Midnight Blue, $500 of CRO staked for twelve months plus $4.99 a month for Ruby Steel, $5,000 staked plus $29.99 a month for Jade Green, and $50,000 and $500,000 staked for the two tiers above. Rewards run from 0% to 5%.
Read the rate against the lock-up
A 5% cashback rate is only meaningful alongside the half a million dollars of a volatile token it requires you to lock for a year. Publishing the requirement is to the provider's credit; the criterion scores the rate against what reaching it costs, which is why the rewards score is mid-table despite the highest headline number here.
What is missing
No FX or conversion fee appears on the page, and monthly fees for the top two tiers are not stated. For a card marketed on spending abroad, the absence of a conversion rate is the more significant gap.
