NorthPeak Nano is built around first-time self-custody. The setup wizard walks users through generating and confirming a 24-word seed, and the on-device screen is large enough to verify full addresses without squinting. It connects over USB-C to a desktop or mobile app.

The Nano costs $79 with no recurring charges. Transaction fees are chosen by the user and passed through to the network without a vendor cut. The companion software is free and supports fee estimation so beginners avoid overpaying.
Security
An EAL5+ secure element stores keys and signs transactions offline. A PIN protects the device, and an optional passphrase adds a hidden wallet.
